Robert Tepper – Better Than The Rest for Rockposer
Very good release from the Singer/Songwriter probably best known for the track “No Easy Way Out” from the Rocky IV soundtrack, clearly he can still pen a good song and definitely worth a listen.
GUN – Dan Reed Network – FM – Rock City, Nottingham for Moshville Times
What a fantastic night in Rock City, GUN were excellent, DRN were off the scale and FM pure class as always, what better way to spend a cold December night in Nottingham. Rock City once again was the venue for a wonderful night for Hard Rock fans.
Jailbirds – The Great Escape for Rockposer.com
An Austrailian/Irish mix of powerful upbeat rock n’ roll, and live these guys are electric, well worth checking this one out.
Ramblin’ Man Fair 2019 . for FRAME Music (Firebrand)
Day 3 . – 21-07-2019
Ketos – First Strike for Rockposer.com
Belfast band Ketos have done a great job on their debut album release. This is without a doubt Melodic Thrash with a side kick that punishes you as heavy music should. Great vocals/delivery from Peter Renshaw, flying solos, crunching riffs, and pummeling drums, all the elements are here and fit together so well. First Strike is well worth you attention and I look forward to hearing more from these guys.
Lonerider – Attitude for Rockposer.com
Anytime you hear of a project with Steve Overland on vocals you have to sit up, and here’s another really good release, alongside Steve you have his Shadoman partner Steve Morris on guitars, Thunder’s Chris Childs on bass and the legend that is Simon Kirke (Free/Bad Company) on drums, with a lineup of that pedigree you expect a lot, and they pretty much deliver on this album, but will we ever see it Toured.
Matt Mitchell & The Coldhearts – Matt Mitchell & The Coldhearts for Rockposer.com
Excellent and very varied solo release from a singer we all know very well, whatever direction Matt takes next will be interesting, some excellent songs here and everything has been put together so well, great songwriting, playing and production.

The Ocean Collective – Voodoo Lounge, Dublin – 22-03-2019 for Firebrand ( FRAME )
Absolutely superb performance from The Ocean in Dublin, if you get the chance to go see them take it, the music is heavy, powerful, progressive and there’s just that something a little special about this band, great performance and with the added bonus of a terrific support acts in Downfall Of Gaia and Herod.
Toby Hitchcock – Reckoning for Firebrand (FRAME)
Since arriving on the scene Toby’s wonderful voice has always been something you will be happy to hear, this is a very good album that for me could have perhaps had a bit more focus on guitars, but at the end of the day it’s that voice that carries everything, certainly one to check out and easily missed with the deluge of releases.
Trishula – Scared To Breathe for RockposerDotCom
Very good Solo album by former Rage Of Angels/Ten Guitarist Neil Fraser, wonderful guitar playing as expected and really well written and performed songs, Neil has put together a great band to make this album, with Jason Morgan (ex Rage Of Angels) on Vocals, Joao Colaco (ex Rage Of Angels) on Drums and some extra keyboards being added by Rick Benton of Magnum.Well worth checking this one out.
Elles Bailey – Whelans (Upstairs), Dublin – 07-03-2019 for RockposerDotCom
Superb show from Elles containing material from the superb new album ‘Road I Call Home’, great support from Dom Maring.

Geoff Tate’s Operation Mindcrime – Button Factory, Dublin for Firebrand (Framemusic.online)
Excellent nights entertainment with support from Skyfever and Mark Daly, and a set of classic Queensryche songs, Geoff’s voice was in fine form and supported by a strong backing band. Let’s hope we get to see Empire Toured next year on it’s anniversary.

Mike Tramp – Stray From The Flock for Rockposer.com
Mike Tramp continues to create his own brand of vibrant rock infused music, another continuation from the creative juices that spawned from the excellent Cobblestone Street album. Stray From The Flock is another group of honest heartfelt songs that will I’m sure once again work really well live.
Altitudes & Attitudes – Get It Out for Rockposer.com
Very interesting release from Thrash Bass legends David Ellefson (Megadeth) and Frank Bello (Anthrax), with a Hard Rock/Alt Rock album that sees both men providing not only Bass but also Guitar and Vocals from Bello. Definitely one to take a lisen to, with some elements of Foo Fighters, Alkaline Trio etc….
Elles Bailey – Road I Call Home for Rockposer.com
Superb album from Elles, wonderful songs, blending of styles, and just a beautiful delivery, certainly one not to miss if you like soulful blues with some country influences here and there.
Blood Red Saints – Pulse for Rockposer.com
With the release of their third album Pulse once again BRS have proved why they are so highly rated, some excellent songs, continuing to sound different to the hordes and once again providing us with some cracking new Melodic Rock music.
Behemoth – Vicar St, Dublin – 10-02-2019 for MetalPlanetMusic.com
When you watch an extreme Metal Band elevate to a new level from a small crowd at their first Dublin show to a Sold Out Vicar Street, brilliant stuff and At The Gates were perfect as support.

King King – Birmingham Town Hall – 01-02-2019 for TearsOfFirePhotography
Stunning set from King King and a wonderful support slot from Sari Schorr, and absolutely cracking night in a beautiful venue.
Evergrey – The Atlantic for Firebrand FRAME
A band at the very top of their brilliant game, absolutely stunning album, already in my Top 10 list for the year and sure to be fighting hard for the top spot even this early. Brilliant musicianship, vocals and such well written and put together songs.
Flotsam And Jetsam – The End Of Chaos for RockposerDotCom
Thrash Metal legends Flotsam And Jetsam continue to show they are a force to be reckoned with some 38 years after the began. The End Of Chaos is another cracking slab of Metal, go get this one, what a great start to the year.
