Ben Poole – Anytime You Need Me               for          Firebrand

Absolutely cracking new album from Ben Poole, blues with soul, a little funk and a fresh sound, this one is really top notch.

Europe – Olympia, Dublin – 12-09-2018            for             Overdrive

Really brilliant show all around, support from the excellent King King and Europe were on fire, best I have seen them and that’s saying something. Joey’s voice is absolutely on the money right now and he’s loving it.

The Radio Sun – Beautiful Strange                     for

These Aussie melodic monsters are releasing a high quality album ever 12 months, and this one certainly falls right into the mould, terrific right the way through.

Myles Kennedy – Academy, Dublin – 05-07-2018     –        for Overdrive

Myles Kennedy made a very welcome stop off in Dublin on his acoustic Tour, in support of the excellent Year Of The Tiger album. A sold out venue and a brilliant show.

Laurence Jones – The Truth                             for            Midlands Rocks

Awesome album from Laurence Jones, no doubt at all this will be in the Top 10 at year end.

Tankard – Hymns For The Drunk                      for                  Firebrand

Nicely put together compilation album, blending the classics with the newer music of one of best Germanic Thrash bands of all time. Hymns For The Drunk

Saintorment – Defective Mind                             for                  Midlands Rocks

Hard hitting modern Thrash from Latvia that doesn’t ignore it’s roots.

Blood Red Saints – Love Hate Conspiracies               for                Firebrand

Excellent and interesting new album from Blood Red Saints, taking a slightly different direction and still holding their melodic sound oh so well, definitely worth some of your attention this one. Cracking band.BLODD RED SAINTS - love hate conspiracies_3000x3000px

Ailafar – Heartbeat                            for

Greek AOR band Ailafar released their latest album towards the end of 2017, containing a guest appearance from none other than FM’s Steve Overland.
