Filling in some of the shows I’ve been lucky enough to be able to take some photos at since I picked up my first DSLR and started to take things a little more seriously, TYKETTO have always been one of my favourite bands but for some reason I’ve not yet been happy with the photos I’ve taken of them live, I hope to rectify that. This was one of the first half dozen shows I’d shot and I would have done things far differently now if the night rolled around again. It was an absolutely brilliant show in one of my favourite venues, so there was a grin on my face from ear to ear going home anyway, but I think I’ve found it difficult to switch off the “fan” while being in the pit shooting them, the songs mean that much to me, my focus should I get the opportunity again will be 100%.
Definitely some rookie mistakes in here, but the show meant a lot to me, and it gives me a good opportunity to gauge improvements that have been made since the early shows.
